Dr. Ibrahim Ishaku Kwaja serves as the Deputy Provost (Academics), responsible to the Provost for the effective and smooth co-ordination of all academic programmes and related functions of the College.

The Deputy Provost (Academics) is responsible to the Provost for the effective and smooth co-ordination of all academic programmes and other related academic administrative functions as may be assigned by the Provost.

Key Responsibilities

  • Co-ordination of all academic programmes across all schools and directorates.
  • Oversight of the Academic Board secretariat and coordination of Academic Board meetings.
  • Supervision of Deans of Schools and academic Directors.
  • Ensuring compliance with NCCE academic regulations and standards.
  • Coordination of examination matters, results processing, and academic calendar.
  • Implementation of academic policies as approved by the Academic Board.
  • Liaison with external bodies on academic matters including NCCE and affiliate universities.
