A Message from the Provost

Prof. Benson Yusuf Baha is the Provost and Chief Executive Officer of Adamawa State College of Education, Hong. He is responsible to the Governing Council for the overall administration of the College and serves as Chairman of the College Academic Board.

Functions of the Provost

  • Chief Executive Officer of the College, responsible to the Governing Council for overall administration.
  • Chairman of the College Academic Board and many high-level Committees.
  • Directs the activities of the College on both academic and non-academic matters.
  • Assisted by two deputies: Deputy Provost (Administration) and Deputy Provost (Academics).

Access to the Provost

Where the need arises for a group of students, including SUG Executives, to meet with the Provost, the Director of Student Affairs shall arrange the meeting after obtaining the consent of the Provost.
